EXCHANGES, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We want you to fully enjoy your Vilca García piece. Due to the handcrafted nature of our garments, each piece is carefully made by hand and may show slight variations inherent to this process.
1. Exchanges
We accept exchanges for size only, within 7 calendar days of receiving your order, provided that the piece:
- Is unused and in its original condition.
- Has not been washed, altered or damaged.
- Retains its original tags and packaging.
Exchanges are subject to the availability of the requested size.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the exchange.
2. Returns
You may request a return within 7 calendar days of receiving your order, provided that the piece:
- Is unused and in its original condition.
- Has not been washed, altered or damaged.
- Retains its original tags and packaging.
Once the piece has been received and inspected, we will confirm whether the return has been approved and proceed with the corresponding refund.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except where the return is due to an error or manufacturing defect on the part of Vilca García.
3. Refunds
Once a return has been approved, we will issue a refund for the value of the returned product.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, wherever possible.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except where the return is due to an error by Vilca García or a manufacturing defect.
The time it takes for the refund to appear in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
4. Made-to-Order Pieces
Pieces made specifically to order, customized or produced according to the customer’s specific measurements are not eligible for exchanges or returns due to size, colour or personal preference, given their nature as pieces specially made for each order.
If the piece has a manufacturing defect or does not correspond to the agreed specifications, please contact us so that we can find the most appropriate solution.
5. Defective Products
If you receive a piece with a manufacturing defect, a different size from the one ordered, or a product different from the one you purchased, please contact us within 7 calendar days of receiving your order.
In these cases, Vilca García will cover the costs associated with the return and, where appropriate, offer an exchange, repair or refund.
6. Variations Inherent to Handcrafted Work
Our pieces are made through artisanal processes.
Small differences in texture, knitting tension, colour, shape or finish may occur from one piece to another and form part of their unique character.
Such variations, where they do not affect the quality or functionality of the piece, are not considered manufacturing defects.
7. How to Request an Exchange or Return
Please email us using the address provided in our Contact section, including your order number and the reason for your request.
We will reply with the relevant instructions for proceeding with your exchange or return.
Once the piece has been received, we will check that it meets the conditions outlined above before approving the exchange or return.
