Description
This unisex sweater is hand-knitted with a blend of rustic alpaca and sheep fiber from the Andes.
This wool comes from a small factory located in Huancayo, Junín, that obtains the raw material from remote family farms in those highlands. It remains in its natural color; was neither bleached nor dyed. It has a rustic feel that hasn’t been heavily processed by rows of machinery or toxic chemicals, but rather by an industrial and traditional process. That ensures that its manufacture is sustainable not only to the environment but also to the families involved from the ground up. Sometimes, in the finished garment you’ll find small remnants and pieces of twigs and dried plants, belonging to the farms; the beginning, which we intentionally leave because it talks about its roots.
This sweater features a high neck with a hand-crocheted puller to regulate the opening.
